All the mosques in the city of Karachi are getting readied for the provision of facilities to persons who would go into 'Etekaf' in the mosques for the last ten days of the holy month of Ramazan.
A total of some one million persons are expected to go into 'Etekaf' at the different mosques in the city this Ramazan, ten days from now. Special sections in the mosques are being marked for accommodating those who will spend their 'Etekaf' period at the mosques.
Meanwhile, special arrangements have also been made at all the mosques for handling the rush of the faithful for Taravih prayers in the closing quarter of Ramazan, specially for the Lailatul Qadr.
The law enforcement agencies have also worked out their strategy for keeping law, order and peace during the last ten days of Ramazan at all the mosques where prayers are being held. One of the biggest rushes expected at the mosques in the city will be on Friday next week, not this week, which will be the Jumatul Wida and the faithful will make a beeline for the mosques.
