The Lahore High Court (LHC) has adjourned till October 17, the proceedings in a petition filed by district nazim Kasur Rana Hayat praying to the court to direct the respondent district administration to release funds for schemes duly approved by the district council.
The petitioner contended that the district council in accordance with the law approved the annual budget but respondent officials only to please their high ups were not releasing funds for the schemes duly approved by the council. The court rose for the day when the petitioner counsel was still submitting his submissions.
