Muqurrab Khan Niazi on Saturday assumed the charge as Director Engineering in Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation (PBC) after the retirement of Zulfiqar Ahmad.
Muqurrab Khan Niazi has a vast experience in the field of engineering to his credit and was previously working as Director Planning and Development, said a press release issued here.
He implemented a record number of development projects in a short span of about three years in the PBC, including establishment of three 100 KW Medium Wave Transmitters at Peshawar, Lahore and Quetta for the broadcast of News and Current Affairs programmes.
