Unidentified dacoits looted cash and jewellery worth millions of rupees at gunpoint in second incident of coach robbery in last 12 hours near Tando Jam on Sunday.
An air-conditioned coach (JA-9768) coming from Mirpur Khas was on its way to Karachi. Five armed men travelling in the same bus stood up from their seats and snatched cash, jewellery and 15 cell phones from the passengers.
During the loot and plunder they also harassed three women passengers.
Some of the passengers including driver and conductor were also harassed. The passengers have protested against the incident and blocked the Hyderabad-Mirpur Khas road. However, the traffic was restored after a few hours.
