Death sentence convict British national of Pakistani origin Mirza Tahir Hussain has once again appealed to President General Pervez Musharraf for his pardon. Talking to BBC on phone, he also thanked British Prince Charles and Prime Minister Tony Blair for playing role to defer his November 1 execution.
"I am thankful to Prince Charles, who took interest in my case, I also thank Prime Minister Tony Blair, this is my last time. And once again I want to appeal to President Musharraf to pardon me on the occasion of Eid and I hope that President Musharraf would never allow the execution as he himself has expressed concerns over my punishment."
Mirza Tahir Hussain termed the central Adialla Jail condition as worst than that of jails in West. He added that he spends his time in reciting the Holy Quran and prays for his forgiveness. Mirza Tahir Hussain said that he was not afraid of death as he had full confidence in Allah.
