Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz has released Rs 25 million for electricity schemes in District Lakki Marwat under the electricity provision programme. According to a release issued here on Friday.
District Nazim Lakki Marwat, Humayun Saifullah Khan had thanked Prime Minister and Federal Minister for Water and Power, Laiqat Ali Jatoi for the timely release of funds and said that the Federal Government was working for changing the lot of the common man.
Talking to the elite of the area in his office, Humayun said that the district government was making all possible efforts for the redressal of the long-standing problems confronting the masses. He said that the district government would ensure provision of gas, electricity and other basic necessities of the life to the people. He said that efforts were underway for up-gradation of 132 KV grid stations of Tajazai and Peezu besides setting-up of separate 132 KV grid station for District Lakki Marwat.
