Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Muhammad Ali Durrani has termed meeting between Nawaz Sharif and Benazir Bhutto here as the meeting between two failed Prime Ministers and said there was nothing new in the agenda.
Talking to BBC, Durrani said that the two ex PMs had discussed no politically significant matters. Durrani responding to comment on the Nawaz Sharif statement that the tussle with Musharraf was vital said, "Nawaz Sharif is a simple man and lives in simple men's paradise". Sharif had hurt the political ideologies of his party workers by joining hands with Benazir, he added. "Nawaz Sharif has become the private secretary of Benazir and he has handed over his political asset to Benazir," he advocated.
About the demand of the national government and holding election under that set up by the two Prime Ministers, Durrani said, actually it was the demand of the government when the opposition was talking about launching movement against the government and was told to wait for elections.
Responding to a question whether a single person had the right to bar two ex PMs to be part of elections, he said, their deeds had barred them from participating in elections. "The two Prime Ministers have written their political career by themselves," he added.
