South Korea's combined imports of food-grade corn and corn for feed fell 0.7 percent in the first nine months of 2006 from the same period a year, industry data showed on Monday.
South Korea's corn imports for feed production were down 2.3 percent to 5.0 million tonnes between January and September from a year, data from the Korea Trade Information Services showed. The country's imports of food-grade corn rose 5.6 percent to 1.4 million tonnes in the January-September period from a year, according to the data.
