The City District Government Karachi (CDGK) on Saturday announced that it received 30 samples of dengue fever within two days at the laboratories set up at Abbasi Shaheed Hospital and New Karachi Hospital, which proved positive.
It said the CDGK carried out fumigation through 30 spray machines in Gulshan, Jamshed, New Karachi and Saddar towns following the directives of City Nazim, who has directed to continue the fumigation drive and if needed further medicines should be purchased.
Meanwhile, City Nazim Mustafa Kamal visited the medical store of CDGK and inspected various sections. EDO Health Dr A.D. Sajnani and other officials were present.
