Professor Masood Ahmed, country's renowned surgeon, breathed his last here on Friday. He was 87. He was laid to rest at Model Town graveyard on Friday afternoon. According to family sources, he had been suffering from heart ailment for some time.
Professor Masood Ahmed retired as Professor of surgery King Edward Medical College and Mayo Hospital, Lahore. Prior to this, he had worked as Professor of surgery at Dow Medical College Karachi and Nishtar Medical College Multan. He left behind his wife, three sons and two daughters to mourn his death.
