Karachi's public transport system has worsened so much that elderly people, women and children are daily put to great risk to their lives. This is a problem which should be tackled on top priority basis. Ordinary people don't have money to hire rickshaws and taxis.
As such they are compelled to travel in buses and mini buses. One can see the pathetic conditions of poor people on the roads. Bus drivers always seem to be in a hurry. Old people face serious problem in getting into and getting out of these rashly driven buses. The concerned authorities should take serious notice of this problem and they should take immediate steps to solve it.
