An eight-member delegation of Messrs Korean Electric Power Company (Kepco), headed by the Company Director, Kim Hee Kwang, called on Wapda Chairman Tariq Hamid, here on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Wapda chairman said that Wapda was planning to revamp its existing thermal power generation and keen to benefit from foreign expertise for an increase in the rated capacity of its thermal power plants.
He briefed the delegation about the charter of duties, organisational structure, power generation system and in particular, the existing generation capacity of the whole Wapda system.
The delegation showed keen interest in the power generation system of Wapda.
