Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA) will observe a countywide protest day on Friday November 3 to express sentiment against attack on a seminary in Bajour Agency in which 83 children and youth were martyred on Monday.
In a joint statement issued here on Wednesday MNAs of MMA Muhammad Hussain Mehnati, Abdul Sattar Afghani and Laeeq Khan said that through this attack on innocent students, the US had once again proved its cruelty. They said martyrdom of innocent peoples was a grave challenge for the people of Pakistan. They informed that protest demonstrations would be staged outsides the mosques all over the country after Jumma prayers while special prayers would also be offered for the martyrs.
MMA legislators termed the attack on madaras an attack on sovereignty of Pakistan. They said that current incident of aggression had also harmed the image of army.
They said that instead of dialogue to resolve the issues, the government was using brutal state power against its own people. They faired that it would be dangerous for the security and survival of the country.
