The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (Isesco) has awarded the science prize to Dr Hameed Ahmed Khan, Executive Director of Commission on Science and Technology for Sustainable Development (Comsats), in recognition of his outstanding contributions in the field of physics.
On receiving this prize Dr Khan has also been declared the 'Isesco Science Laureate', says a press release. Dr Hameed Ahmed Khan has rendered meritorious services to Pakistan during the last four decades in the areas of research and scientific administration and has to his credit around 530 publications, mostly in the international journals of repute.
