Wheat futures at the Chicago Board of Trade were lower early on Friday on a technical setback from Thursday's higher close, traders said. The grain markets were taking a breather after Thursday's aggressive trade, led by fund buying in corn and soybeans.
As of 11:00 am CST (1700 GMT), CBOT December wheat was down 3-3/4 cents at $4.87-3/4 per bushel. Deferred months were down 1 to 5 cents. Man Financial sold 400 December contracts, traders said.
