BR Oil and Gas Index was the second most active sector with turnover of 76,405,000. It closed at 2,158.45 with a net positive change of 64.51 or percentage change of 3.08.
BR Cement Index was the third most active sector with a turnover of 26,939,300. It closed at 1,544.23 with a net positive change of 33.93 or percentage change of 2.25. BR Tech. & Comm. Index closed at 1,368.88 with a net upward change of 44.29 or percentage change of 3.34. The volume of this sector was 18,103,600. BR Power Generation and Distribution Index closed at 1,054.94 with a downward change of -2.27 or percentage change of -0.21. The turnover for this sector was 3,340,500.
