The standing committee meeting of the Council of Pakistan Newspapers Editors (CPNE) will be held on Monday, November 6, 2006 with its President Fasih Iqbal in the chair at CPNE Secretariat, Karachi.
During the meeting, state of freedom of expression in the country, government-press relations and other organisational issues would be discussed. CPNE Secretary General Wamiq Zubairi has requested all members of the standing committee to attend the meeting.
