Pakistan cricket team suffered an embarrassing defeat at the hands of Australia, after the Aussie bowling duo of Starc and Lyon sealed an unlikely win, and with that claimed the series 2-0.
Pakistan prospects are getting further bleak after skipper Misbah ul Haq, distraught by his recent performance, hinted that he might not participate in the third and final test against Australia in Sydney next week.
"I haven't decided about that (Sydney) but let's see," he said.
Pakistan legendry fast bowler, Waqar Younis was of the view that Misbah would be under immense pressure while Pakistan could opt to have two changes in the batting line up.
He (Misbah) hasnt scored too many runs. Pakistan has a couple of spots available because there are a few batsmen who havent been getting runs. He might be under some sort of scrutiny, said Waqar, reported news.com.au.
Misbah-ul-Haq has been having a nightmarish series, as he has only managed to score just 20 runs producing scores of four, five, 11 and 0 in the first two Tests.
Furthermore, the former captain believed that fast bowler Sohail Khan would be excluded from the Pakistan XI, and might be replaced with Imran Khan.
Sohail has a problem You might go another spinner or pace I dont know. Last time Pakistan played here, the pitch was very green and the faster bowlers did a job to begin with, they picked up a lot of wickets with the new ball, so Im not sure if Pakistan will go with two spinners or not, but Sohail probably will be replaced with maybe Imran Khan. He deserves a go.
