LG Electronics has announced that its 100-inch liquid crystal display (LCD) TV has made it into the 2007, Guinness Book of World Records for being the world's largest. The 2007 edition of the globally renowned Guinness World Records introduced the 100-inch LCD TV as the first product in the Science & Technology Gadgets section.
The LG 100-inch LCD TV is approximately 1.5 times larger than the largest currently available LCD TV (82-inches), and is similar in size to the largest plasma display TV currently available, says a press release.
Under the title, "Largest LCD Screen," the book lists specifics of the 100-inch LCD TV, including its high-definition picture quality without distorting the video signals. Moreover, it said its width and height measuring over 2.2m and 1.2m, respectively, and resolution of 6.22 million-pixels with full HD grade picture quality and 1.07 billion colours.-PR
