The government has promoted Air Commodore Tubrez Asif to the rank of Air Vice Marshal, a PAF statement said on Saturday. Air Vice Marshal Tubrez Asif was commissioned in Pakistan Air Force on March, 17, 1978 in Flying Branch.
During his career he has held important command, staff and instructional assignments which include Officer Commanding Flying Instructors' School, Directing Staff at Pakistan Navy War College, Directing Staff at PAF Air War College and Chief Instructor Staff Wing at PAF Air War College.
He has been President of Inter Services Selection Board and has also commanded a PAF Air Base. He has served with the Qatar Air Force on deputation. He holds Master's Degree in Defence and Strategic Studies. He is recipient of Sitara-e-Imtiaz (Military).
