Japanese electronic parts maker Kyocera Corp said on November 08 that it aims to raise profit margins in its loss-making communications equipment segment to 5 percent next year by cutting procurement and development costs.
Kyocera will target the high-end Japanese market and develop middle-range models along with its US cellphone unit Kyocera Wireless Corp, Kyocera President Makoto Kawamura told Reuters in an interview.
