On behalf of the Board of ISACA Karachi Chapter I would like to congratulate Ferguson Associates (Pvt) Ltd on the upcoming conference on Business Continuity Management (BCM) Conference.
The disaster events in New York City and Washington DC on 11 September 2001 must have forced many organisations to question whether they would survive such a disaster. Business continuity plans (BCP) are no longer a luxury, but an essential element of an organisation's risk management programme.
ISACA is a great supporter of Business Continuity and accomplishes this responsibility by updating its members on the current trends through its publications and has developed IS Auditing Guideline "Business Continuity Plan (BCP) Review From IT Perspective" (G32).
