Citigroup has been actively involved in the development of Pakistan's financial services sector and has undertaken several initiatives in this regard including the regular and timely transfer of expertise.
In line with this focus, Citigroup's Global Transaction Services Unit organised a two-day seminar titled 'Global Trends in Trade and Cash Management' for its clients at the Pearl Continental Hotel in Bourbon. The seminar was a resounding success and was attended by over 40 customers representing 30 major corporates from Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad.
The seminar was the first of its kind as it brought together representatives from a diverse set of industries which coupled with the expertise of product specialists especially flown in from Citigroup Egypt, UK and the UAE made the program and discussions both interesting and meaningful.
Citigroup Country Officer and Managing Director Zubyr Soomro inaugurated the seminar said: "Citigroup is focused on developing the local financial market and transferring global best-practice methods.
