Deputy Prime Minister Romania Bogdan Pascu on Wednesday visited the display centre of Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) and shown keen interest in the products on display.
Pascu who is leading a delegation of Romanian businessmen and officials delegation, also held meeting with the Secretary TDAP Naveed Arif and discussed trade relating matters and stressed for expanding trade volume between the two countries.
Romanian businessmen shown keen interest in leather garments and hand knotted carpets. Secretary TDAP briefed the Romanian deputy prime minister about the functions of newly created TDAP in the promotion of Pakistani exports. He said that bilateral trade volume was not reflective of the close and cordial relations between the two countries. He said that Romania will be part of European Union (EU) from January 1, 2007.
