The last day for submitting nominations for Citigroup Microentrepreneurship awards has been extended to November 20, 2006. All Microfinance Institutions are requested to send in a minimum of five nominations for each of the following award-categories.
National: Best Male Microentrepreneur (1 prize), National: Best Female Microentrepreneur (1 prize), Regional: Best Rural (4 prizes), Urban: Best Rural (4 prizes).
Nominations for the Citigroup Microentrepreneurship Awards Program must be received not later than November 20, 2006. Please mail these to Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF) Islamabad. For more information, please visit www.ppaf.org or www.citibank.com.pk.
According to press release the Citigroup Microentrepreneurship Awards Program is being organised by the PPAF in collaboration with Citigroup in an effort to recognise and celebrate the achievements of microentrepreneurs across Pakistan and to generate awareness of the significance of Microfinance as a poverty alleviation tool.
