The Supreme Council of All Karachi Transport Association and Karachi Goods Carrier Association have announced to call off the ongoing strike of goods carriers after holding talks with provincial minister for labour, transport and industry Adil Siddiqui.
They said during a meeting of their representatives with the minister held at the office of Supreme Council and Karachi Goods Carrier it was decided to resolve all issues with understanding, according to a statement issued here, on Friday.
All the transport-related issues were discussed during the meeting and it was decided to solve the same by reaching an understanding through talks and negotiations.
