Women can play vital role in eradicating social evils through their education, if provided with better opportunities, said Chairperson Senate Standing Committee on Education, Science and Technology Razina Alam Khan on Saturday.
Addressing the students of PAF Finishing School for Women here, Razina highlighted the role of country's half of the population in eradicating evils from the society.
"If we impart education to one girl, we get educated the whole family," she said, urging the women to get education to understand their active role and status in the society. A large number of students along with their parents attended the well-organised ceremony.
The PAF Finishing School offers various courses in communication skills, languages, management, domestic sciences, art, childcare and introduction to psychology.
