The Pakistan Post and Telegraph organised a conference on "Quality of Service" at Postal Staff College here on Saturday. The conference was attended by all the Postmasters General, Regional Deputy Postmasters General, Regional Director Postal Life Insurance and Senior postal officers of Postal Headquarters.
The Chairman of Pakistan Postal Services Management Board presided over the conference and highlighted the significance of the occasion and stressed upon the participants to ensure quality of service, says a press release. The focus of this conference was both on domestic and international mail. The recommendations for revamping of mail were framed with the view to improve quality of service.
The end-to-end quality service standards prevailing in Pakistan Post were also discussed in detail and it was stressed to create customer-friendly culture and develop mechanism to collect feedback from regular users of the Post.-PR
