'Timely wheat sowing to improve yield'

Director General Agriculture Research Hidayatullah Chhajro emphasised the need for timely wheat sowing, which will improve per- acre yield.
He was speaking at wheat seminar at Research Institute Sakrand. He said that late sowing per- acre decrease the wheat yield, up to 20 November wheat sowing is completed. He further said that timely sowing would benefit growers to achieve maximum yield.
In a seminar Syed Nadeem Shah, Secretary Sindh Abadgar Board said nature always favour the crop but growers are responsible to complete wheat sowing timely.
