Pakistan Maritime Security Agency ship Vehdat apprehended three Indian boats along with 22 crew members onboard on Saturday for illegally fishing in Pakistani waters.
The ship was on routine patrol in the Eastern Maritime Region when it found these boats fishing illegally about 53 nautical miles inside the Exclusive Economic Zone of Pakistan, MSA release said on Sunday.
Later, the apprehended fishermen were handed over to Docks Police Station for further legal action. The Indian fishermen were warned time and again not to explore benefit from rich fish sources at the mouth of Indus delta.
