A 30-year old Pakistani labourer at Maidan Hawally lost his life when he was accidentally sucked in by a concrete mixer on Monday. The mixer severed the upper part of his body, churning it to pieces. Only his legs could be seen dangling out of the mixer's voracious belly.
His colleagues stood there in shocked horror - too stunned and dazed beyond belief to even contemplate pulling him out, as it all happened in a flash. According to an eyewitness, the mixer just sucked the labourer in when he was in close proximity through its ultra powerful suction fans. Another eyewitness claimed the corpse was dangling for almost an hour before it was extracted.
