RCCI demands industrial estate in Rawalpindi

Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) has demanded of the government that a modern industrial estate should be set up in Rawalpindi.
"Government should give special package for Rawat Industrial Estate and provide basic infrastructure including grid station, proper gas line, besides special incentives for industrialists who want to establish their units there", said Dr Hasan Sarosh Akram, President RCCI here on Tuesday while addressing an Eid Milan party hosted by him in honour of journalists.
RCCI chief told reporters that prime minister has agreed with the chamber for construction of grid station and gas supply to chamber while chamber had raised the matter of construction of roads with the Punjab Chief Minister.
