LOTTE Pakistan PTA (LOTTE PPTA), a subsidiary of LOTTE, one of South Korea’s largest conglomerates operating in Pakistan, after its recent endeavors to help flood victims in the Badin District continued its unswerving efforts to help those suffering from the recent floods in Mirpurkhas and adjoining areas.
Asif Saad, CEO Lotte PPTA, Lotte PPTA Korean Directors and senior LOTTE PPTA managers along with MNA Mirpurkhas, Mir Munawar Talpur, MPA Mir Babu Talpur and DCO Mirpurkhas, Ghulam Hussain Shah visited the areas of Tando Jan Mohammad, Digri and Jhudo with flood aid supplies.
MNA, Mir Munawar Talpur extended his gratitude towards the LOTTE team for its previous relief efforts saying “I am extremely appreciative of the LOTTE team for its perseverance in supporting our fellow brothers who are so severely hit by this calamity. LOTTE PPTA is setting an example for all of us by reaching out to these people through relief efforts.”
Similar to LOTTE's previous visit to the flood affected region of Badin, the team worked with a well-chalked out plan. Identifying specific relief supplies that were the need of the hour were distributed amongst the victims. Relief supplies included food bags each containing Rice, Flour, Sugar, Pulses (Dal), Cooking oil Dry Milk &  Tea,  sleeping nets to fight the severe threat of dengue and tents.
Speaking on the occasion, Asif Saad, CEO Lotte PPTA said “As responsible members of this community we at LOTTE PPTA believe it is our rightful duty to give back to the society. In our second round to the flood affected areas, we saw how much of a positive difference can be made in the lives of these people only by hearing out their problems and sharing their grief. He added, LOTTE PPTA would like to extend gratitude to local government officials for facilitating our relief efforts and we hope that this support of the local officials will be received in future initiatives also.”
Giving hope to the despaired flood affected victims; LOTTE PPTA has so far reached out to over 1,000 plus families that have been affected by the recent floods in Sindh.
LOTTE PPTA, over the years, has taken considerable initiatives to help build the community and extending a hand of support to the flood victims is one such effort. With an aim to create positive community development and an environment that fosters societal uplift, Lotte PPTA looks forward to future opportunities of positively contributing to the society.
