The local police produced a councillor Chaudhry Basharat involved in a rape case before the Supreme Court of Pakistan. The court directed the respondent police officials to complete the investigation of the case by next date of hearing and submit a comprehensive report on November 30.
The DPO Lahore informed the court that two delinquent women police officials Nasim and Bushra have been suspended for not performing their duties in accordance with the law.
