Shifa International Hospital will host three-day annual scientific meeting of Pakistan Cardiac Society at Jinnah Convention Center from December 1.
The theme of the 19th annual congress will be "Placing a premium on creative thinking in cardiovascular medicine", aims at focussing on contemporary cardiology research conducted in Pakistan, says a press release.
A unique feature of this meeting is the multiple award categories for young investigators and clinicians including an Innovative Research Award by the Pakistan Council of Scientific & Industrial Research to encourage indigenous medical hardware development.
Keeping with the tradition of Pakistan Cardiac Society, an elaborate General Public Awareness Initiative Program has been organised. This programme will be conducted by national leaders in cardiovascular medicine, which will be held after the conclusion of scientific session on December 3 at 1400 hours at Jinnah Convention Center here.-PR
