Eleven women were injured when roof of a house collapsed at Main Bazar, Dubai Town, Raiwind road here on Wednesday. Rescue-1122 sources said Majlis-e-Aza was underway in a house when all of sudden its roof caved in. As a result all women attending the Majlis came under the debris.
On receiving information, ambulances of Rescue-1122 reached the spot and 55 rescuers took part in the rescue operation and pulled the injured women out of the debris. The injured women were rushed to the Jinnah Hospital for treatment. They have been identified as Afia (32), Sugran (64), Jamiala (30), Siddiqa (30), Razia (45), Sonia (14), Arshad Bibib (25), Bilquees (40), Liaba (25), Aziza Waqar (45) and Zarina (45).
