LSE polls date extended

The Board of Directors of the Lahore Stock Exchange (LSE) has extended the date of annual elections of the exchange from December 9 to December 16, 2006. Following change in the schedule of the elections, the last date for withdrawal of nomination papers has also been extended till December 6.
Meanwhile, the LSE board of directors postponed the decision of imposing fine on the inactive members of the exchange till next annual general meeting of the exchange, to be held on 21st December 2006. Now AGM would take a final decision about the issue of fine, an LSE official said.
