A book launching ceremony was held at the Pakistan High Commission here on Thursday evening. The book titled "The End of Innocence" by a noted columnist Moni Mohsin in which she uncovers a world of honour killings, forbidden love and explores the power of the secrets.
Speaking on the occasion, the Pakistan High Commissioner to UK, Dr Maleeha Lodhi said the writer had found a niche for herself through her regular social and political sartorial column in the widely read weekly from Lahore "The Friday Time". Moni Mohsin has beautifully portrayed the social and cultural milieu of Pakistan during the early 1970's in her novel.
