The Maritime Security Agency (MSA) has seized a boat carrying 37,000 beer cans and bottles of foreign branded liquor within Pakistan's territorial waters, an MSA press release said.
The boat was apprehended by MSA ship Barkat on Friday night while it was on a routine patrol in the Western Maritime Region, said the release of the Karachi-based MSA, made available here by the public relations department of the Navy.
The arrested vessel along with the liquor is being handed over to the customs authorities for further legal action, it said.
