Singapore bunker prices fell on Tuesday, and its differential to fuel oil cargo values softened to a discount of $3-$4 a tonne, traders said on Tuesday.
Prices for 380-centistoke (cst) bunker fuel were pegged at $259-$261 a tonne, while its differential to fuel oil widened by 60 cents to $3.40 on weak demand.
"Bunker sellers may be holding back from selling, probably hoping for prices to rise in the coming days," a Western shipowner said.
