Jhang, Sargodha and Mianwali Chambers of Commerce and Industry have extended their all-out support to Progressive Businessmen Forum (PBF), giving a clear edge to the PBF in the forthcoming FPCCI polls.
According to Forum spokesman Mohammad Ali Mian here on Wednesday, the PBF had brought forward only those candidates, who had sufficient experience and good liaison with the top government functionaries. Both Mian Misbahur Rehman and Irfan Qaiser have a proven track record and have already served the business community through various fora.
Presidents of Sargodha, Mianwali and Jhang Chambers, Mohammad Ihlaq Piracha, Hafeezullah Niazi and Sheikh Shahid Iqbal have assured their support to the Progressive Businessmen Forum. They said that the other side was issuing wrong statements in a bid to divide the business community for the fear of defeat but nobody could ignore the writing on the wall. "There was a time when people were used to vote for conventional leaders but now the situation is altogether different," he added.
