During the past week, bizarre and serious snowfall has been hitting a southern Italian town, which is usually a clement and sunny part of the world.
The cold wave has left approximately 23 dead earlier on in the week in Poland, Italy, Bulgaria and Russia alike. The toll of hypothermia related deaths in Poland had risen to 71 on Wednesday since 1 November 2016.
What makes matters worse is the realization of a 500-year-old prophecy made by an Italian Philosopher, Matteo Tafuri, who said that two consecutive days of snow in the southern town of Salento would mean the end of the world.
Tafuri had stated, Salento of palm trees and mild south wind, snowy Salento but never after the touch. Two days of snow, two flashes in the sky, I know the world ends, but I do not yearn.
Now, it has been snowing for two straight days in Salento, additionally two flashes in the skies of Salento too have been recorded whereas two comets are expected to pass us by on the 14th and 25th of February.
