With a view to creating awareness among families of epileptic patients, Fountain House Lahore organised a community education programme on epilepsy here on Monday.
Professor Dr Haroon Rashid Chaudhry, Head of the Department of Psychiatry FJMC, Dr Arif Rashid, Dr Amjad Islam Amjad and others addressed the issues of epilepsy in relation to career selection, education, marriage, pregnancy, nutrition, drug treatment, leisure activities and childhood epilepsy at the awareness programme.
Professor Dr Haroon Rashid said: "Epilepsy is one of the most common disorders of brain and affects the people of all cultures".
