German paper tweets documents linking Maryam Nawaz to Panamagate
KARACHI: Sddeutsche Zeitung -- a German daily has made public as many as four documents claiming Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's daughter Maryam Nawaz to be the beneficial owner of offshore companies named in Panama Papers.
"For those in Pakistan who doubt the role of the prime minister's daughter Mariam Safdar in Panama Papers some of the documents. Judge yourself," the Germany paper tweeted on Monday.
The German newspaper was the first to receive documents from the whistleblower of Panama Papers leak before the scandal made global headlines.
