The Supreme Court (SC) here on Monday returned a contempt application filed by Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, a PML (N) leader, against Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz, saying it was not admissible under article 248 of the Constitution.
A contempt case cannot be initiated under article 204 of the Constitution against the chief executive because there was no violation of any court orders, it said. It asked the applicant's lawyer Muhammad Ikram Chaudhry to mention which orders of the court had been violated.
