Hero Pakistani Collectors Card scheme is meant to generate revenue for Pakistan Sports Trust to pursue sports awareness, enhance opportunities and empower sports federations in the country through talent grooming.
"We are really proud to offer such a service to our nation which will foster sports development countrywide trough public-private partnerships.
We are glad to note that the campaign has also been able to improve lives of so many Pakistanis through the prizes given away so far, and we will continue to do so," said Zafar Siddiqui, Chief Executive Officer, Comset Services (Pvt) Ltd. He further compared Hero Pakistani with other international fund raising schemes and said, "Such business models have proved to be popular and successful around the world both in Muslim and European countries. In Malaysia, for example, Magnum Corporation Berhad raised a similar scheme for its National Council in 1991.
To state another example, in Turkey Inteltek was also established to support local games with a similar scheme, and China also raised 10 billion Yuan by 1999 for sports undertakings, including sponsored training courses, lectures and organising sporting events?'-PR
