The Ombudsman Sindh Yousif Jamal has expressed his deep concern over sad demise of renowned artist Zaffar Kazmi and renowned poet, writer and intellectual Illias Ishqi and visited their houses to offer fateha with their bereaved families on Sunday evening.
Lauding the services of Zaffar Kazmi, he said that we have lost a great artist, archaeologist who served the nation through his art and vision, especially preserved the culture of Sindh through his paintings.
Talking at the family of Illias Ishqi, Yousif Jamal said that services of Ishqi for the strengthening of brotherhood among the people residing in Sindh could not be ignored. He said that Ishqi always has promoted love and affection through his poetry and writing and especially translating Sindhi books of poetry and culture into Urdu. He said that the literature and art produced by Illias Ishqi and Zaffar Kazimi would remain source of guidance for our upcoming generations.
