Pakistan Petroleum Dealers Association (PPDA) has urged the government to take action against the illegal oil depots, selling substandard smuggled oil products. PPDA Chairman, Abdul Sami Khan said here on Tuesday that these illegal depots, commonly known as "dabba stations", were affecting the business of legal petrol pumps.
He pointed out that cases had been registered against these stations but no action had so far been taken. These depots were not only depriving national exchequer of a revenue of million of rupees but causing damages to the engines of automobiles, he added.
