Indonesia's state marketing centre sold 73,224 kilograms of rubber in a government auction at $2.08 per kilogram, the company said on Wednesday.
The centre, which sells palm oil from state plantations, sold 36,612 kilograms of Ribbed Smoke Sheet (RSS) 1 to PT Artha Delira Mulia and PT Fat Indonesia respectively for February shipment from Jakarta. The centre holds a rubber auction once a week. Indonesia is the world's largest rubber producer and exporter after Thailand.
