Short supplies of cereals from the upcountry centres pushed the prices further higher on the grain market on Wednesday, dealers said. On the cereal side, moong Punjab was higher Rs 250 at Rs 4250. Masoor Australia followed suit and picked up Rs 200 to Rs 3100.
Urad Burma good type was up by Rs 50 to Rs 1750, while the low type maintained its overnight level at Rs 1500, they said. Barley Sindh and Mardan picked up Rs 50 to Rs 1150, they said.
